Tickets are available now to take in these historic races from a fresh, new vantage point – at the newly-redesigned World Center of Racing. Coke Zero 400 Weekend will also include a number of special activities to honor our nation’s military service men and women.

The Fourth of July in Daytona Beach also brings a beach-side celebration with music and a free fireworks show. Let freedom ring with a free Bandshell Summer Concert to the tunes of an Elton John Tribute Band, followed by a free fireworks show over the Atlantic Ocean.

Looking for More? Here's five things you'll want to take in:

1) Experience the world’s largest collection of Florida art! The Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art just opened in February 2015 on the grounds of Smithsonian-affiliated Museum of Arts & Sciences). It’s a $13 million facility filled with 2,700 paintings dating from the 19th century, the most extensive collection of Florida art in the world. This 26,000-square-foot home of the Brown’s unprecedented personal collection is an architectural jewel. It features a mezzanine showcasing their signature pieces, six changing galleries, conference and education rooms, a charming café with outdoor seating and an eclectic gift shop.

2) Enjoy music in the seabreeze! FREE Bandshell Summer Concert Series – Daytona Beach’s historic Bandshell’s free concert line-up features a series of tribute bands – including U2, James Taylor, and (Daytona Beach natives) the Allman Brothers Band, and more – performing Saturday nights from May 23- September 19. Come early, enjoy the Ocean Walk Village and Shoppes, stroll the Daytona Beach Boardwalk and Pier, grab an ice cream and settle in for a musical night, with fireworks over the Atlantic to follow.

3) Get your adrenaline going! Daytona International Speedway – the World Center of Racing is fast-becoming the World Center of Entertainment, and its $400-million refurbishment is nearly complete. Speedway Tours and the Richard Petty Driving Experience are mustsee summer excursions, but don’t miss celebrating Independence Day at the Coke Zero 400 Weekend, which features of NASCAR Spring Cup Series racing and the biggest fireworks display in the Southeast – all under the summer stars.

4) Play Ball! Enjoy the new Daytona Tortugas baseball season April through September at historic Jackie Robinson Ballpark on City Island and get a stunning panoramic view of the Intracoastal Waterway, the beachside and historic downtown Daytona Beach. After the game, sit back and take in the fireworks show. Visit DaytonaTortugas.com for more information.

5) Climb to the Moon! Explore the wonders of Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse, Florida's tallest! Join the lighthouse keeper on a journey into the past, and discover the unique history of this National Historic Landmark. Ascend the 203 steps to the top to witness the moon rising and the sun setting on select dates through the summer.

It’s hard to stop at five, so here’s two more!

Longing for a lazy river? Enjoy Daytona Lagoon and all the twisty turns of 12 water rides, a giant wave pool and lazy river - as well as Kraken's Conquest, an exciting, fastpaced 4-lane racer slide.
