In an effort to slow the spread of the COVID 19 virus and for the safety of our staff and guests, we are implementing additional processes to help protect the safety of guests and team members, and certain services and amenities may be unavailable.

What Measures Are We Taking to Keep You Safe?
We are living in a new age, with COVID-19 front and center for our guests and our associates. We are grateful for the trust our guests have shown us through the years.
We want our guests to understand what we are doing today and planning for in the near future in the areas of cleanliness, hygiene and social distancing so that when they walk through our front door, they know our commitment to their health and safety is our priority.
The Nautilus Inn has enhanced its cleaning and sanitization procedures to comply with CDC recommended guidelines. Learn more about our new COVID-19 sanitization practices and procedures here.
SPECIFIC ITEMS OF INTEREST:
On Arrival: Please consider social distancing when approaching the front desk. Additionally, consider using hand sanitizer prior to checking in.
Elevators: Due to an abundance of caution, we ask to for only one party/family per elevator car.
If you find the elevator occupied, please wait for the next available car. We appreciate your understanding of this policy change for the safety of our guests and staff.
Housekeeping: Due to an abundance of caution, our daily housekeeping services have been suspended.

Please call the Front Desk if you have a need for linen exchange, trash pick-up, etc. We're here to take care of you and provide the best vacation experience possible at this time.
Breakfast: Due to an abundance of caution, the Sand Dollar Room will be closed to guests of the Nautilus Inn.
Please join us each morning for a complimentary continental breakfast served "to go" for your enjoyment in your room or on the pool deck.
Coffee has been provided for preparation in your room. If you need additional supplies, please call the Front Desk and we will deliver to your room.
Cocktail Hour: Due to an abundance of caution, our complimentary cocktail hour has been suspended.

Accessing Lobby & Guest Rooms via Pool Deck Door: Due to an abundance of caution and protection of our guests, your guest room key card will be required to for entry through the poolside doors.
We appreciate your understanding of this policy change for the safety of our guests and staff. The front doors of the Nautilus Inn will be open if you forget your card.
Lobby Rest Room: Due to an abundance of caution and protection of our guests, the rest rooms located in the lobby will be closed to the public. We ask guests to consider returning to their room for rest room use.
Pool Deck: Pool furniture should be used with social distancing standards. Please return pool furniture to it's original location after use. Please wipe down your chairs after use with disinfectant spray and towels provided on the pool deck.

Beach Status Update
Effective Saturday, May 2, Volusia County will lift the activity restrictions of essential exercise on Volusia County beaches.
Activities including sitting, sunbathing and other activities will be permitted beginning Saturday. To avoid the potential for person-to-person spread of the virus, groups on the beach are limited to a maximum of six people and groups are required to distance themselves by at least 10 feet from other groups.
To prevent crowding, other than three beach vehicle ramps for handicapped access, all other beach ramps remain closed to vehicles. However, parking along county rights-of-way adjacent to the beach are open. Beachgoers have been required to engage in physical activity such as walking or jogging and then leave the beach when they were done. The county also plans to open a limited number of additional off-beach parking provided that conditions on the beach remain favorable for social distancing. The number of available spots will largely depend on the volume of beachgoers near each parking area. Potential areas include the county’s coastal parks as well as Michael Crotty Bicentennial Park, Wisteria Road parking lot and Dahlia Avenue Park. Parking at these locations will be limited to prevent crowding on the beach. Lighthouse Point Park and Smyrna Dunes Park will also open Saturday at partial capacity.
Restrooms, splash pads, playgrounds and showers will remained closed at all of these facilities.
